Case Manager (Afghan Placement Assistance and Reception & Placement)

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Case Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services for asylum seekers under the Afghan Placement Assistance (APA) Program and refugees under the Reception & Placement (R&P) Program residing various counties (including Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura, and Kern). IILA projects to assist at least 350 Afghan asylum seekers under the APA program and 500 refugees in the R&P program.

Staff Attorney

Under the supervision of the Division Director, the Staff Attorney will provide immigration legal representation in a high-volume varied immigration legal practice, which includes asylum, cancellation of removal, motions, waivers, adjustments of status, TPS, U Visas, T Visas, naturalization, special immigrant juvenile status, and other related services in a high volume setting.  Responsibilities include representing immigrants for all available remedies in immigration court, and coordinating with other staff attorneys. The Staff Attorney may also supervise paralegals, case managers, and clerical staff.
