Irene Li Williams, MBA, is First Vice President of Cathay Bank and District Administrator for Southern California. Before joining Cathay bank in 2010, she worked for East West Bank and U.S. Bank. Irene also serves on the boards for Business Finance Capital (“BFC”), a Los Angeles-based SBA Certified Development Company specializing in the SBA 504 program, and the San Fernando Chinese Cultural Association.

She also volunteers her weekends serving as Principal for the longest-running Chinese association in Los Angeles, teaching Chinese culture and language. Born in mainland China, Irene studied Accounting and Information Systems locally, graduating from CSUN with her bachelor’s degree and has deep ties to the Los Angeles area.
