At IILA, we believe in amplifying the stories of our communities and giving a voice to all people.
Your story helps IILA advocate on behalf of refugees, immigrants and low-income working families, promotes awareness of available resources and services, shows the impact of federal policy on real people, builds additional support so that we can expand and strengthen our services, and sends a powerful message to others who are going through similar experiences.
IILA adheres to a strict confidentiality policy and respects the sensitive nature of many of our clients’ circumstances. All items below are optional and personal information is collected for our internal records only.
I acknowledge that submitting my story is voluntary and does not affect my eligibility or priority for services through IILA.
I hereby grant and authorize International Institute of Los Angeles (IILA) the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of text and photo submissions to be used in and/or for any lawful purpose, including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, brochures, emails, websites, social media, and other print and digital communications without payment or any other consideration.
This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats and markets now known or later discovered. This authorization shall continue indefinitely, unless I otherwise revoke this authorization in writing.
I waive the right to inspect or approve any finished product in which my likeness appears. I agree to this release without being compensated. I waive any right to royalties, donations, or other compensation arising or related to the use of the materials. I hereby hold harmless and release IILA from all liability, petitions, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representative, executors, administrators, or any other persons may make while acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate.
