LA Metro Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) Program

RIDE LA METRO FOR LESS

IILA is a provider of LA Metro’s Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) Program, which provides transportation assistance to qualifying low-income LA County residents. The Metro LIFE Program offers discounts on transit passes or free rides on LA Metro and several other transit agencies.

Apply for Metro LIFE Program

Step 1: Find out if you are eligible.

If you live in LA County and your income falls within these limits, you are eligible.

1 $44,150 or less
2 $50,450 or less
3 $56,750 or less
4 $63,050 or less
5 $68,100 or less
6 $73,150 or less

 

 

Applicants must be 18 years or older. Children must be enrolled on an adult head of household application.

Individuals who receive transportation discounts from the city/county schools or employers, or are Access or U-Pass cardholders, are not eligible to participate in the LIFE Program.
